COVID-19 Guidance for studio photo shootCOVID-19 2022_02_06

Safety Measures for Covid-19

We wanted to take a moment and tell you what measures we will be putting in place to maintain as safe of an environment as possible given our current situation during a photo shoot.

We will follow the guidelines as laid out by the CDC and Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and the Colorado State of Emergency Operations Center. This includes but not limited to;

  • Washing hands before and after each photo shoot session
  • Have hand sanitizer available and remind clients to apply before and after each session
  • Maintain minimum recommended safe distance from each other as outlined by the CDC

We ask that if you are not feeling well, have a persistent cough and/or sneezing, or have a fever prior to your photo shoot to please contact us and reschedule your session to a later date.

About face masks:  At this time mask mandates are not in place for the City of Denver for indoor businesses and wearing a mask is optional. Feel free to wear a mask for your own personal comfort level and safety. However, given the nature of portrait/headshot photography, we will ask you to remove any face masks during the actual photo shoot. We will request you to remove face masks at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the photo session or before applying professional makeup to avoid any marks caused by the mask. We may ask you to adjust your clothing, hair, eyeglasses (if worn), etc. yourself as opposed to us making any adjustments.

For On Location Photo Shoots

We will practice safety measures as stated above where applicable on location in addition to the following.

  • Only those required for the photo session will be allowed in photo area (in front of the camera and directly behind it)
  • The client is responsible for their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • All photographic gear and handling of will be the responsibility of the photographer and photographer's assistant. The client is to ensure neither the client, the client family/friends, nor the client's employees will touch any photographic gear or equipment before, during, and after the photo session.

It is our intent to maintain as safe of an environment as possible while at the same time continue to provide an enjoyable photo session.
