Preparing for your headshot will ensure you look and feel your best in front of the camera. What to Wear for your Professional Headshots

The right outfit can make a big difference in how you look and feel.

• Choose clothes that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

• Wear/bring clothes you've received compliments on (if you feel good in it, it will show).

• Solid colors generally photograph best; avoid busy patterns or logos.

• Dark to medium gray tones often flatter most skin tones and hair colors.

• Avoid all-black or all-white shirts (unless layering under a jacket or sweater).

• Keep clothes neat and wrinkle-free, freshly pressed being the best.

• Business jackets work well for a polished look and offer multiple styling options.

• For men wear V-neck undershirts under button up or polo shirts.
